Attention, Attention, (Pause Before You) Read All About It!

Most of us are completely bombarded every day with news. Try a one-day “news fast." Do not read, watch, or listen to the news for just one day. You don’t want to be uninformed, but in this day of 24 hour news and information overload, it is good to take a break and just “be." I have been doing this once a week just for my mental health.

Watching hours of news can cause anxiety, stress, anger, and frustration. The media rarely reports the good things that are going on in the world. If you are constantly hearing bad news, it is toxic. You have the power to decide how much of this you are going to take in.
